Notes
Serve with veggies, crackers, or chips. Rolled tortilla chips (showcased above) are perfect for dipping. All that being said, our favorite way to enjoy this recipe is to eat it with toasted flatbread.
You simply slice the flatbread into strips and triangles, spritz with olive oil, and bake at 425 degrees until slightly brown. (If you want to get fancy, you could also throw a bit of garlic salt on the pieces before popping them in the oven.)
As I was making the recipe today, I remembered that I had some naan flatbread in the pantry. Oh, my word. I'm telling you, this is the perfect compliment to thisSpicy Sautéed Spinach Dip.
After you've mixed your dip ingredients together, pop it in the fridge to chill for a while. Then tend to your flatbread:

Super simple. Crazy delicious. The combination of the outer crunch and inner softness of the flatbread go smashingly with this cool and creamy dip. Of course, that's the thing about this spicy spinach dip—it tastes amazing on pretty much anything.

It provides your dip with 167 milligrams of potassium, which helps regulate your heartbeat and almost 1 milligram of iron for transporting oxygen through the blood. Spinach contains 2,831 international units of vitamin A in a cup, which is beneficial for healthy eyes.
Freezing and thawing spinach dip will change its texture a bit. If you would still like to freeze it, ladle the spinach dip into freezer-safe bags, squeeze out the excess air, and freeze flat for up to three months.
Frozen spinach is also space efficient (have you ever tried to cram two pounds of the fresh stuff into your fridge?) and it lasts for months. Whether you're whipping up a dip for last-minute guests or you want something nutritious (that is, green) to add to your omelette, frozen spinach is there for you.
Spinach Artichoke dip is is loaded with tender artichokes, hearty spinach and creamy cheese for a delicious dip that anyone will enjoy. In fact, I've never met someone who didn't like this dish! Growing up, this dip was often served cold, at parties, alongside slices of white baguette.
Spinach is a non-starchy veggie, which means it does not have much effect on blood sugar levels. So, you can enjoy the green delight as much as you want. Spinach is considered a low-glycaemic index food, and foods that have low GI are said to have little or no effect on the blood sugar levels.

The date printed on the container is an “unopened” date - meaning the dip will stay fresh if unopened until that date. Once the dip container has been opened, we recommend consuming the dip within about 10-14 days for optimum flavor and freshness and follow the “refrigerate after opening” instructions on the label.
We recommend waiting until you're ready to serve the dip to transfer it to the bread bowl. Leftover dip should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. You can refrigerate spinach dip in a bread bowl, but it will get soggy and stale after one day.
You absolutely can freeze sour cream. As with any food, freezing will stop the growth of microorganisms indefinitely, keeping it safe until you thaw it for reuse. The caveat is that like other dairy products, sour cream will lose some of its thickness and smooth, creamy texture once it's frozen and thawed.
Once the dip container has been opened, we recommend consuming the dip within about 10-14 days for optimum flavor and freshness and follow the “refrigerate after opening” instructions on the label.
The easiest way to improve a prepared spread is to read the ingredients on the package, then add more using the freshest you can find. Try: chopped cilantro, real lime juice, or a diced jalapeno in prepared guacamole.
Ready in five minutes, each microwavable tray of frozen spinach dip comes packaged inside the box to keep it protected. Store our 8-ounce box of spinach dip in the freezer until ready to prepare.
Bake for 30 minutes at 400 or until golden brown on top. Just check on it after 20 minutes to see if it's browned or not. Serve with tortilla chips or mini toasted baguettes. Dip and enjoy!
